The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Annual Meeting is one of the largest scientific conferences in global cancer research. The audience is highly academic and research-driven, including scientists from universities, as well as R&D, translational medicine, and biomarker, assay, CMC, and platform teams from biotech and pharmaceutical companies. This year, AACR 2026 will cover key areas such as cancer biology, tumor immunology, cell and gene therapy, biomarkers, translational research, and next-generation oncology technologies.

We are proud to share that our VP of Product Development, Yu Sun, Ph.D., will be speaking on Sunday, April 19, from 1:30 to 2:30, sharing how AI and integrated research platforms can be used to advance next-generation biological modalities. 

Dr. Yu Sun is a life sciences leader with over 12 years of experience driving innovation in the biomanufacturing industry. Currently leading discovery product development at ACROBiosystems, she advances scalable recombinant protein platforms that accelerate antibody discovery and development.

Trained at the University of British Columbia, Dr. Sun focuses on translating cutting-edge science into practical solutions, delivering reagent platforms that support faster IND filings and clinical readiness.

Talk Abstract:

The rapid evolution of biological modalities - including in vivo CAR and antibody–drug conjugates (ADCs) - demands robust solutions across the full development pipeline. We combine protein engineering with AI platforms to generate reagents and assays optimized for protein-protein interaction, cell internalization, and other studies that drive translational research. Similarly, we also iteratively refine our solutions to support downstream applications; enhancing manufacturing workflows and ensuring quality control before it reaches the patient. Our tools are designed to improve data quality, enhance reproducibility, and support predictive research by using AI and other research tools to accelerate the development of next-generation cancer therapeutics.
