SARS-CoV-2 S1 protein, His Tag (S1N-C52Hr) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Val 16 - Arg 685 (Accession # QHD43416.1). HV69-70del, Y144del, N501Y, A570D, D614G, P681H mutations were identified in the SARS-CoV-2 Alpha variant (Pango lineage: B.1.1.7; other names: 20I/501Y.V1 or VOC 202012/01).

Molecular Characterization

This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 76.6 kDa. The protein migrates as 100-140 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
