VCAM1 (Vascular Cell Adhesion Molecule 1) is a cell surface adhesion molecule belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily, serving as a key receptor mediating intercellular adhesion and signal transduction. In induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-based T-cell and NK-cell differentiation systems, VCAM1 works in synergy with DLL4 to construct a key signaling combination that mimics the thymic microenvironment, playing a pivotal role in the homing, survival, and lineage-specific differentiation of hematopoietic progenitor cells.
GMP Human VCAM-1 Protein, Fc Tag (GMP-VC1H25) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Phe 25 - Glu 698 (Accession # P19320-1).
Predicted N-terminus: Phe 25

This protein carries a human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus.
The protein has a calculated MW of 100.7 kDa. The protein migrates as 126 kDa±5 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
Less than 10 EU/mg, tested by the LAL method in compliance with USP <85> and Ph. Eur. 2.6.14.
<5 ppm of protein tested by ELISA.
<0.5 ng/µg of protein tested by ELISA.
<0.02 ng/μg of protein tested by qPCR.
Sterility testing was performed using the membrane filtration method in compliance with USP <71> and Ph. Eur. 2.6.1.
