Product Details
HRV 3C Protease is highly specific for the recognition sequence Leu-Glu-Val-Leu-Phe-Gln-↓-Gly-Pro and cleaves after the glutamine residue. The recombinant enzyme is engineered as a fusion protein with polyhistidine tags, can be easily removed after cleavage.
Application
Removal of purification tags from fusion proteins.
Unit Definition
One unit will cleave >95% of 100 µg control fusion protein in 50 mM Tris-HCl, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.5 at 4℃ for 16 h.
Purity
>90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Enzyme Activity
>10 U/μL
Formulation
Supplied as 0.2 μm filtered solution in 25 mM Tris, 150 mM NaCl with glycerol as protectant.

いいねI ordered the HRV 3C Protease from Acro and it worked well for me. I like that it is 10U/ul, the one I used before, it had less than 1U/ul so I had to use more volume. Also the cutting efficiency was higher, compared to what i was using before (different company)
