Activin A, a pivotal member of the TGF-β superfamily of signaling proteins, is fundamentally involved in regulating embryonic development and cellular differentiation processes. In the context of stem cell differentiation, its primary role is to direct pluripotent stem cells towards a definitive endoderm fate, which is the essential germ layer that gives rise to the pancreas and other internal organs.
GMP Human Activin A Protein (GMP-ACAH37) is expressed from CHO cells. It contains AA Gly 311 - Ser 426 (Accession # P08476).

This protein carries no "tag".
The protein has a calculated MW of 13.0 kDa. The protein migrates as 13 kDa±3 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE).
