Application

Human Cadherin-10 Protein, His Tag AIDD-Ready protein is designed for direct use in SPR assays. It is supplied in a sugar-free, glycerol-free formulation to eliminate refractive index interference in SPR. No desalting or buffer exchange is required before use, simplifying the SPR workflow and supporting high-throughput experimental validation to accelerate the transition from AI prediction to wet-lab validation.

Features and Advantages
  • Directly compatible with SPR: No desalting or buffer exchange required; supplied as a liquid to reduce sample preparation and improve experimental efficiency.
  • High batch-to-batch consistency: Each lot is released using SPR QC to ensure experimental reproducibility.
  • Validated with representative drugs: SPR binding activity is validated using representative drug antibodies to ensure suitability for drug screening and evaluation.
Synonyms

Cadherin-10, CDH10, T2-cadherin

Source

Human Cadherin-10 Protein, His Tag (CA0-H52H5AI) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Gly 55 - Ala 613 (Accession # Q9Y6N8-1).

Molecular Characterization

This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.

The protein has a calculated MW of 64.2 kDa. The protein migrates as 50 kDa, 60 kDa and 70-80 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

Purity

>90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

>90% as determined by SEC-HPLC.

Formulation

Formulated in a proprietary trehalose-free buffer, supplied ready-to-use for SPR/BLI analysis - no buffer exchange required.

For detailed formulation, please refer to the batch-specific COA.

Background

Cadherins are a large family of cell –cell adhesion molecules involved in inter-cellular adhesion in a wide variety of cell types. In the nervous system, cadherins are known to be crucial to all stages of development, including the early separation of the neural tube from the ectoderm, the segregation of neurones and axons, and the formation of synapses. These molecules mediate calcium ion-dependent, homotypic primers designed using two highly conserved amino acid sequences in the cytoplasmic domain. One of the cadherins identified was cadherin-10. Cadherin-10 was first partially cloned from human brain, but its mR has also been shown to be present in mouse thymus (designated T2-cadherin), mouse testis, and in the developing brain and eye of mouse, rat, and chick.
