    Human FCGRT&B2M Heterodimer Protein, His Tag (FCN-H52W7) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK293). It contains AA Ala 24 - Ser 297 (FCGRT) & Ile 21 - Met 119 (B2M) (Accession # P55899-1 (FCGRT) & P61769-1 (B2M)).

    Human FCGRT&B2M Heterodimer Protein, His Tag, produced by co-expression of FCGRT and B2M, has a calculated MW of 32.3 kDa (FCGRT) and 11.7 kDa (B2M). Subunit FCGRT is fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus and subunit Beta-2 microglobulin (B2M) contains no tag at the C-terminus. The reducing (R) protein migrates as 33 kDa (FCGRT) and 10 kDa (B2M) respectively due to glycosylation.

    We used this protein to detect the binding ability of the antibody with FcRn. The instrument we used was Octet Red and the sensor was HIS1K. The binding was very good.

    Recently I purchased this product for affinity test of antibody with FcRn using SPR method. We tested the SEC-HPLC first, and got very high purity. Basically it's one single peak, and well met the requirements for SPR affinity detection.

    Can lyophilized proteins remain stable during room-temperature shipping or temporary room-temperature exposure?

    In general, lyophilized proteins remain stable during room-temperature shipping or temporary exposure to room-temperature conditions.


    Many ACROBiosystems recombinant proteins are supplied in lyophilized (freeze-dried) form. The lyophilization process effectively removes moisture from the product, helping reduce degradation-related reactions and improve protein stability during transportation and storage.


    To evaluate the stability of lyophilized proteins under normal temperature conditions, ACROBiosystems conducted a stability study on 11 representative lyophilized protein products at 37°C. The study demonstrated that these proteins maintained good quality stability after storage at 37°C for approximately 20 days. Based on these validation results, temporary room-temperature exposure during shipping or handling is generally not expected to have a significant impact on product quality or downstream application performance.


    To ensure optimal long-term stability, products should be stored according to the storage conditions specified in the product Certificate of Analysis (COA) upon receipt.

バックグランド

FCGRT & B2M heterodimer protein (FcRn complex) consist of two subunits: p51 (equivalent to FCGRT), and p14 (equivalent to beta-2-microglobulin), and forms an MHC class I-like heterodimer. Fc fragment of IgG, receptor, transporter, alpha (FCGRT) binds to the Fc region of monomeric immunoglobulins gamma and mediates the uptake of IgG from milk. FCGRT possible role in transfer of immunoglobulin G from mother to fetus. Beta-2-microglobulin (B2M) is a component of the class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC) and involved in the presentation of peptide antigens to the immune system.
