Hepatotoxicity Assessment

We measure the inhibition of CYP450 expression and enzyme activity under the action of the drug, since the ALB secreted into the medium also represents the liver activity.

Liver Case Studies

NASH Modeling – Hepatoxicity Tests

Developed using our organoid differentiation kit, iPSC-derived liver organoids were stained with Oil red. Accumulation of fatty acids in between nuclei reveal the pathological changes that mimic NASH.

NASH Modeling Study Results:
The presence of these fatty deposits, visualized through Oil Red staining, indicates potential pathological changes within the liver organoids that mimic the features of NASH in vivo. This finding is crucial for further studying the mechanisms underlying NASH development and evaluating potential therapeutic strategies.
